It is a world first that since 2020, the year of the first releases, is a real object of worship among collectors all over the world: the rums that make up this exclusive series are the first single mark rum, 100% pot still and vintage, that Appleton Estate has ever released. The 100% pot still distillation, by cutting the heads and tails, allows to keep only the heart of the distillate. After the years 1984, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2002 and 2003 it is the time of the release 1998: an extraordinary blend of 19 barrels - the #417649 and from #422371 to #422388, chosen from the almost two hundred thousand of the Jamaican distillery - distilled in the still Forsyth s and bottled at 63° after 25 years of aging in the tropical climate. The total congeners content is 995 gr/hlpa. Limited edition of 2706 bottles, of which 492 for Italy.
