The work is composed of two parts: the sculpture itself, which is 65 cm high, 14 cm wide and 15 cm deep. The wooden plinth is 20cm long, 20cm wide, 1.8mm thick.The work is hand-signed by the artist, on the model, on the back (see photo) The artists of the 20th century looked for sources of inspiration in many primitive cultures such as African art, Egyptian art, domestic art. In the 21st century, the inexhaustible source of nature has been unleashed in artistic creation. Everything that is alive (animals, insects, birds), green (plants), blue (sea and sky) inspires the artist realistically or abstractly, taking part in a new global direction of art. On the basis of primitive, traditional and modern art, the contemporary artist brings the power of nature back to the fore. More than 10 years ago, while walking in the forest near my house, I accidentally discovered an oak. I remember its energy that attracted me. There were thousands of trees around me, but that oak was "different"! I was sitting and we admire his forms, his veins, the space and the air that surrounds him. It was something magical. I had an amazing revelation. Everything made sense. I returned to the workshop. On the work table I had the plant women. Now I had the tree women in mind. Inspired by that oak and researching modern art, referring to the reality of nature, I managed to give birth to my experiences and thoughts through precise, powerful volumes with their own life. I am a licensed sculptor at the University of Art in Bucharest, with a master's degree. I have exhibited a lot, in various professional art galleries in Romania. I have created several public monuments, the last one being inaugurated in 2023. The proof is the many radio interviews, televisions and specialized magazines. Prestigious critics have spoken about the uniqueness of my works. I am concerned with the symbiosis between old and new, between the proportions and balances of classic volumes with my inner lives. I am concerned with the plastic expression of the volume, but also with a unitary concept of the ensemble. I remain anchored in the traditional way of looking at art, implicitly sculpture.
