Designed by Philippe Starck in 1996 and originally produced in die-cast aluminium, the Dédé doorstops are truly sculptural figures that give life to one of the many anthropomorphic characters typical of the French author's poetic imagery. About Phillipe Starck: The French designer Philippe Starck (b. 1949) studied in École Nissim de Camondo in Paris and stayed in Paris after his studies.
