Great-Britain 2 Pence (Cartwheel Two Pence, Tuppence) 1797 Famously milled Cartwheel Two Pence coin from the George III era. This copper coin was too heavy and too large to be handled as everyday pocket change. It was produced using a steam powered press at the Soho mint. It's a sublime piece of history during the industrial revolution in Great Britain. The quality of this coin can be regarded as Superb in my opinion and has almost no edge knocks, lovely surfaces and no corrosion! A rare and attractive piece. This is one of the originally minted coins by Matthew Boulton between 1797 and 1848. Later coins, produced by W.J. Taylor, can easily be identified by die corrosion.
