Seaside View of a French Harbour with numerous ships ( Marseille ?) by renowned French marine, landscape and orient painter Ferdinand Bonheur (1817 - 1887), origin from the famous Bonheur family of artists. He recieved acknowledge for his paintings with motives from Venice, Istanbul, Orient, seascapes with French harbours.

Inscription: signed lower left.
Technique: framed oil on wood panel.
Measurements: unframed w 15 1/8" h 9 2/3" (40 x 25 cm); framed w 22 3/4" x h 17 1/3" (58 x 44 cm).
