19th CENTURY, France - Animated medieval scene. "Animal Romantic clock" Elegant Table or mantel clock, movement revised, works perfectly.
- Rare period set, the balance wheel is original to the same number 6486 as the movement (in general, the balance wheel is lost over the decades)
- Young boy in period clothes, sitting on the grass, thoughtfully looking at his dog resting on his left leg.
- Exceptional white enamel dial with black Roman numerals/indexes, with its pearled crown and its pair of openwork “Breguet” style hands
- Very rich floral and rural ornamentation, fruit trees, bunches of grapes, scrolls and acanthus leaves.
This clock is approximately 130 years old.
