The LEGO Mixels theme was introduced in 2014 as part of a collaboration between LEGO and Cartoon Network. The Mixels consisted of nine waves of sets over three years and were discontinued after the third 2016 wave. In addition to sets, the Mixels collab included a TV series featured on Cartoon Network that ran for 2 seasons. Mixels are based on various tribes living in a fantastical diverse world and are small creatures that can mix and combine to create new characters. All tribes have three members, except the Infernites, Frosticons, and Glorp Corp, which have six members each.
