It is a highly elaborate porcelain figurine, magnificent molded, and brilliantly glazed, cobalt blue, heavy gilded. Extremely rare in this huge size and in this excellent condition. Early 20th century Royal Dux Bohemia art deco porcelain figurine depicting a flamenco dancer. Royal cobalt blue accented with profuse gilding to bracelets, earrings, necklace, and dress floral accents, and with additional gilt border stripe to oval form base. Marvelous pure Art Deco, this is an eye catching huge statue, model issued in 1920s years, in Bohemia region, former Czechoslovakia country, marked accordingly on the back of the base by the over-glazed Dux dark pink triangle added and impressed numbered.
