Vietri - 匾 - 陶瓷
A beautiful set of mid 20th century ceramic wall plaques depicting artisans at work.
The tiles measure 24.5cm - (9.6in) x 17cm - (6.7in) - and show four separate scenes (The Four Seasons);
1.. A lady baking breads.
2. A farmer with a scythe
3. A farmer harvesting his corn
4. A farmer sowing his crops
Attributed to Vietri but I am unsure of the accuracy of that attribution. Nevertheless less they are very pleasing in their own right.
All tiles are in excellent condition barring one small nick at the BACK of one tile and totally unnoticeable from the front.
Heavy lot but will be packed well for shipping.
