Carl Zeiss Jena rare 75mm F:1.5 Biotar T red with M42 mount c1949/50
This is an interesting and rare 75mm lens made by Carl Zeiss Jena, it's the fast F:1.5 Biotar T red with M42 mount.
It's the first version post-war of this lens, it's made around 1949/50.
Exc++++ condition as you can see from the pictures, some little signs but normal for the age and for the type of material with which it is made, aluminum.
Focusing is smooth, the manual diaphragm blades are ok, without oil on the blades, and they work very well. Some little signs on the filter ring, but they can be mounted without problems.
The glasses (always for the age) is clean without scratches, fog or lens separation. Only some dust inside (there are some little air "bubbles") and few light cleaning marks on the coating.
A great lens both for the collector and the user.
There are two caps not original. A very nice and rare lens, especially this version.
