Tichelaar Makkum - bowl with silver handle
Nice earthenware bowl with silver handle by Tichelaar in Makkum. The silver handle has an inspection stamp. The lion with the "2" below, the small Minerva head with the "A" of Amsterdam, and lastly the "M", meaning 1947. The inspection stamp is hard to photograph, though I think I managed.
Diameter: 17 cm.
Is described in the book "Fries Aardewerk Tichelaar Makkum" (published by Primavera Pers Leiden 2004) as being a small bowl.
A few minor damages on the edge, otherwise in nice condition.
