This is a nice, properly working Blaupunkt Frankfurt car radio with short wave, mid wave, long wave, and FM. In 1967, this was a very expensive car radio mostly used in high quality cars such as Porsche, Mercedes, but is also well suitable in a Volkswagen from that time. This copy comes from a Mercedes 250SL Pagode. This revised radio has proper reception, a strong separate amplifier, nice sound, tone control, lighting and preset buttons. The radio is switchable in polarity and in voltage. It is currently set at 12 Volts and minus to the grounding. Comes with the luxury heavy metal chrome front with nadelstreifen.
