A very large and beautiful zamak sculpture of a hunting amazon.
The sculpture is titled 'L'Heure du Gouter' that freely translates into 'time for a snack'.
The amazon is half-naked with long wavy hair and is depicted with a shield and a lance.
It is skillfully manufactured and with eye for detail by the French artist Jean Garnier (1853-1910).
It’s from France and presumably from the late 19th century.

The wooden base has a crack but this is not noticeable. It is in a very good condition, the pictures speak for themselves.
