I am offering an object from an inheritance: Antique mechanical cash register, “National,” in full working order, Bj. December 1960. This antique cash register from the German luxury brand “National,” model 8415 (7), manufactured at the end of 1960, is a true treasure for any collector, as there aren’t many around anymore that are in such excellent, full working condition. It has a sophisticated adding system with receipt output. The 5-lever register - from 0.01 Pfennig up to 99.99 DM - works just as flawlessly as the lever on the side, which causes the cash drawer to open and a ringtone to sound when operated. The cash drawer includes 11 money compartments, seven for coins, three with bill clips for paper notes, and one for sales slips. It can be locked - key no longer exists. The antique mechanical cash register is made of iron, glass, and chrome, with a beige/brown design on the body. The number 6385 can be seen behind a small window on the right part of the till, indicating a manufacture date at the end of 1960.
