This binocular stereo microscope, (No. 680736), watchmaker-microscope is produced by LOMO, Leningrad, USSR, it is of the same rock-solid heavy quality (cast iron/brass) and with the same excellent optical properties, like the well-known MBS 9/10/11/12, all made in the Leitz factories confiscated after World War II.
Fixed lenses (achromats) of 8.75X and WF-eyepieces of 12.5X15, will give a magnification of almost 11X Very suitable for viewing, among other things, stamps, coins, minerals and insects.
The binocular is completely overhauled, all fats are replaced, moving functions run smoothly and without play
The scope is in very good condition, has no signs of use, the optics are clean, no scratches or fungus.
The distance between the pupils is widely adjustable,
The microscope is easy-to-use by a double set of buttons and immediately ready for use.
Larger objects also fit below the lenses
The height is 27 cm, the width is 15 cm and the depth 16.5 cm, weighs 2.25 kg (incl. box 5.75 kg.).
Lighting is not provided, but e.g. a dimmable, led desk lamp is ideal..
Comes with a wooden box with bracket closure in mint condition.
The micro photographs were made with it, with a digital usb eyepiece (not included) and striking outdoor light.
