JUNGHANS regulator - W.748.10/7.11 - 'Tempus Fugit' - 1950s
Lovely JUNGHANS wall clock model/type; 320/6022/7-11 from the 1950s, equipped with an 8-day mechanical movement. The striking mechanism strikes once every half hour, and strikes the number of hours on every whole hour. The case is made of maritime wood with mahogany veneer and stylistic columns on either side. To the top, the emblem 'Tempus Fugti', meaning 'time flies'. One side of the case has a switch to adjust the gong mechanism separately. The clock is finished well with a glass tab with brass fittings that has been preserved beautifully intact. Both the clapper and the two weights have contrasting colour going from a light to a dark shade.
This clock has been serviced recently and works excellently.
Measurements (HxWxD): 32 cm x 27 cm x 12 cm.
