Beautiful missal, published by the acclaimed Plantin Press from Antwerp, printed in red and black. Apart from the title plate, the book includes another 10 full-page prints by renowned artists, including Galle. Dimensions: 36 × 23 cm (64) + 624 + CXXVIII + (4) (index) + 8 + 12; included at the end “Missae Propriae Sanctorum metropolitanae civitatis et archidioecesis Mechliniensis” and some other works. Contains numerous decorated initials and head and tail pieces. Printer’s vignette in red at the end, full-leather binding in good condition and with gilt edges. In very good condition. Title page with some moisture damage, others very good.
