See the photos. The cover has some age-related wear and discolouration. There is a tear of a few centimetres at the top of the spine. It is in good, old condition. Complete.
Van Heutsz was promoted to SS-Obersturmbannführer and received the Iron Cross (1st class) in May 1944, presumably because of his bravery during the outbreak of its 5. SS-Panzer-Division Wiking from the Soviet siege (Kessel) in Cherkasy (Ukraine).
