Hebe is the Greek goddess of youth, cupbearer for the gods and goddesses in Greece. Also called Dia or Ganymeda. Her Latin name is Luventas. She served nectar to the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus, a rejuvenating drink, the water of life that gave eternal life. She was also called ‘cupbearer’ of the gods. She was depicted with a cup in her hands that contained the drink of immortality. Hebe was the daughter of Zeus and Hera in the Greek underworld. Ares and Hephaestus were her brothers.
Dimensions : height 66 cm , base 18.3 x 14.3 cm.
