Albums de la Pléiade. Complete collection of the albums from 1960 to 2017 (Without the 1961 disk which was not an actual album) - 57 volumes - All copies are complete in their slipcases, with their original wrappers and rhodoid (Except for one volume: “Album Dictionnaire des auteurs de la Pléiade”) - 11 x 17.5 cm Biographies or illustrated literary monographs, with an outside appearance similar to the “Bibliothèque de la Pléiade”. Inside model: illustrations in the text, first black, then enriched with coloured notebooks (1992), and eventually fully coloured. The birth of the collection follows the setting up, in 1958, of the annual promotion of the “Bibliothèque de la Pléiade” in bookstores, entitled “Quinzaine de la Pléiade” (in the spring) Such operation consists, since 1960, in offering a gift book to the collection’s most loyal customers, not for sale, in limited edition. The gift book was first offered without purchase condition, then in 1965 it was offered for the purchase of three volumes of the collection. Please note that in 1961, a disk was offered to loyal customers instead of a book.
