These very special chess pieces date from the end of the 19th century. The origin is Guangzhou, China. The chess pieces are made of ivory, the chess game is therefore also provided with a report of observation by a certified appraiser. The chess pieces are highly refined and all equipped with a free moving ball, at the bottom of the pieces, the so-called Puzzleball. That makes the pieces a sought after collector's item and a beautiful addition to a collection. The chess set is complete and all chess pieces are in original condition. The condition of the chess pieces is poor to reasonable. Many pieces have light to medium-size damage and also, some pieces glued. One red rook got a replacement flag. Height of the king is 13 cm and the total weight is 1.5 kg. The entire lot will be packaged safely and shipped by registered and insured mail.
