Biography:
Émile Louis Picault, born August 24, 1833 in Paris where he died in 1915, is a French sculptor.
Émile Picault was the pupil of the painter Henri Royer. He exhibited at the Salon from 1863 to 1914, where he gets an honourable mention in 1883 (Valentine 1st). He is the author of the Monument to Joseph Lakanal built in Foix in 1882. His work will win a great success with its editions of statues in bronze with private individuals.
