Zancanaro Tono - painter (Padua 1906 - ibidem 1985). He devoted himself to painting since 1932: contacts with O. Rosai in Florence and with the anti-fascist environment in Padua and Milan were important for his training. His research was always carried out in the field of realism, that often has surreal tones (especially in the grotesque distortions of the “Gibbo” satirical-political series, 1942-1949).
