Beautiful vintage Tissot Seastar PR-516 Visodate. This men's watch made entirely of steel is, according to its serial number (105xxxxx), from 1969 and it is in neat, used condition. It has the reference number 41516 and is equipped with the hand-wound Tissot 782-1 movement. The movement keeps the time well and the time adjustment works properly. The date also sets itself properly at 12 o'clock. The fully stainless steel case is unpolished and measures 35 mm excluding crown. The height of the case (11 mm) and the nice size lug to lug (41 mm) makes it a large sized watch. Made with the so-called 'lug holes', which emphasise its vintage character. The Sunburst dial has a beautiful convex shape, applied hour markers, and an applied Tissot symbol. The tritium in the hands has discoloured beautifully, which contrasts nicely with the silver dial. Will be packaged with care and shipped by insured post. Tissot was a renowned Swiss watch brand in the 1960s/1970s, comparable to brands such as Longines, Omega, and Certina. The crown and steel strap are universal ones. The steel flexible strap is suitable for wrists up to 19 cm in circumference. Fitted with a screw-down case back.
