Beautiful vintage Nivada Automatic Day Date from the exclusive Taravana line. The Taravana line was designed in the 1970s, specially for Free Divers! Hence the beautifully decorated screw back. This men's watch has a brushed 2-Tone dial with raised hour markers and a robust stainless steel case of 39 mm, measured excluding crown. The steel case is in neat, unpolished condition. The faceted edges are still very very near and sharp The automatic ETA 2789 movement runs well and keeps time accurately. Time adjustment functions as it should as well. Optically a beautiful watch that is also technically in very good condition. The 2-tone dial is very sleek and sporty. The brown middle part has a brushed structure and the light-coloured outer edge has beautiful, thickly raised hour markers that match the colour of the middle part. The tritium on the dial has discoloured beautifully over the last 45 years. Comes on a very neat, universal steel strap which is suitable for wrists of up to 20 cm. Will be packaged and shipped with care. In the 1970s Nivada was a renowned Swiss brand comparable to Omega, Longines and Tissot.
