Well preserved gold-plated Laco electric from 1963/4. The watch is rare, especially in it's functional condition. Already in the mid to late 1960s, no watches of this kind are produced any more (replacement by quartz watches). The electromechanical movement (a balance wheel is driven electrically) functions by means of a button cell battery (see the battery compartment). The electromechanical movement is introduced by Laco in Spring 1958 at the Hannover Trade Fair (prototype with calibre 860). The watch runs after pushing in the back cog. The casing has signs of use and a few plaque flaws. The dial is in perfect condition. The watch crystal is flawless. The watch currently gains around 1 minute per day.
