From own collection offered a magnificent Akai M10, the groundbreaking tape deck that put new standards during its introduction in 1969. This was the first 4 track Akai tape deck that was equipped with 3 engines and 3 speeds. In combination with auto reverse (manual or even fully automatic) this was an absolute hit for its time. The weight of 17kg shows how solid and robust this tape deck is built The M10 has a built in amplifier and speakers but can also be connected to an amplifier. Obviously before the Akai went into auction it visited RiVe's stationary technical specialist. There it is completely taken apart and rebuilt part for part, stress-tested and approved. It comes with the original dust cover/lid and, of course, with some empty and full reels, full of music from times gone by.
