This is an antique, English, double barrel shotgun from before 1870. Black powder - central percussion Calibre 12 (the empty shells serve purely for clarification in the picture and will not be sent). Juxtaposed barrels. The weapon is equipped with the Birmingham proof Marks. See the photo. Rifle is equipped with fine engravings in the old English style. On the barrels the inscription, ‘M. Thompson Birmingham” In working but used condition. Needs no repairs Both open and closed limited slack and closes perfectly. Inside the barrels are as good as smooth. The cocks are good and release well. The metal work includes drawing and stains of old age. The woodwork is in good condition and undamaged. Can be picked up in Dendermonde or the lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered mail.
