A connoisseur does not need much explanation at SABA: probably the best tubes radios ever built! Production years 1961-1962 Completely overhauled/restored device that is both aesthetically and technically in excellent condition. The unit is completely original and just got thoroughly cleaned. The top has some light scratches and the bottom decorative slat is not original (see photos) The following parts were replaced: - All electrolytic capacitors (preventive) - Tuning indicator tube EM84 (by Russian equivalent 6E2) - Selenium rectifier: for robust silicon diodes, adaptive resistance and extra smoothing. - Scale lights The result is a very warm sounding, fully cracking and hum free radio with separate high/low control and 4.2 Watts output power, supplied by 2 large low/mid speakers (in front) and 2 tweeters (aside). Input for record player with ceramic (crystal) cartridge. Good reception on LG, MG and KG with long (outdoor) antenna, as far as there are channels. Good reception on FM from 87.5 to 100 MHz with internal or external dipole antenna.
