Wehrmacht / army officer’s lion head sabre with portepee: Lion's head with red eyes, gilded non-ferrous metal hilt with a plastic grip and intact handle wrap, on the crossguard is a coat of arms with a graphic imperial eagle, vividly decorated with oak leaves on the brass knuckle bow, clean, bare blade with the manufacturer ‘Ernst Pack & Söhne’, blade length 84 cm, total length 98 cm., black scabbard, worn piece.
The swastika is only obscured, it is 100% preserved.
