Wonderful bronze figure in very good condition from the 19th century.
The bronze figure is signed Reusch Königsberg.
Friedrich Johann Reusch (* 5 September 1843 in Siegen; † 15 October 1906 in Girgenti, Sicily) was a German sculptor and professor.
Friedrich Reusch studied in Berlin at the Art Academy and taught afterwards as an artist and professor at the Art Academy in Königsberg.
Dimensions:
Total height 39 cm. The base is 3 cm tall and has a width and length of 17.5 cm. The weight of the bronze figure is 6.7 kg! The bronze is in excellent condition!
