I offer a 2cv Transat which was delivered to Spain in spring 1983. This original Transat (called Beach Comber in England and France 3 in France) is a limited edition. In the years 1983 and 1984 it was limited to 2000 pieces each. In 1983 Citroën sponsored the France 3 sailing yacht in the Americas Cup, whereupon this limited edition appeared. This was so successful that in 1984 Citroën launched a further edition of 2000 models. I bought this dream-car from an elderly lady. The car has been serviced regularly and always stood in the garage when not in use. After the purchase in December 2018, All oils, filters and the batterie have been changed by a workshop that completely checked the car at my request. The workshop was positively impressed by the really very good general condition. The hood was also renewed with OEM quality parts (the original was bleached and will be included in this lot). Headlights and all heating and ventilation hoses were also renewed, as well as the underbody protection. Unsightly paint defects were repaired by a specialist paint shop. The grill is no longer original for the model, but the winter protection is included. The car passed the Spanish MOT without any remarks. The interior is in very good condition without any signs of wear. The fabric above the side windows is not nice anymore, but a new replacement kit is also included. A beautiful vehicle where everything works perfectly. Engine and transmission are powerful and make no noise. The car is powerful, reliable and starts immediately/ On the photos a bumper rubber is still missing, which has of course been replaced. The vehicle is in its original condition except for the repairs, has no rust penetration, is not welded and has very little signs of flash rust. Original manuals, second key set complete.
