Beautiful wooden Schmid-Schlenker clock featuring a hand-painted floral decoration and with beautiful gilt details. The clock is fitted with a Fabrik SSS Marke movement with Graham anchor, which any expert will immediately recognise as a high-quality movement. The clock is in great condition and has recently been serviced by our clock maker. The clock comes with a pendulum and a winding key.
The Schmid-Schlenker brand is marked on the mechanism of the clocks with a logo featuring three S's in an elongated circle. The three S's represent W. & A. Schmid-Schlenker from Schwenningen. The company was founded by the brothers Walter and Albert Schmid in 1935. They were known for producing very chic clocks in the style of Neuchateloise clocks.
The lot will be packaged with care and shipped registered.
