Old American flag.
48 stars - Made of cotton.
The 48-star US flag was made between 1912 and 1959.
- In 1959, a star was added, for an additional State (Alaska).
- In 1960, another star was added, for Hawaii.
It is in very good condition considering its age although it has some stains (I think it is about 1945/1950).
It measures 1.32 x 0.81 m
It is a genuine flag, coming from the the State of Virginia in the USA.
