Optonica - RP-3500 platenspeler met AT20SLa element - 轉盤
In the 1970s, Sharp tried to enter the high end market with the Optonica brand.
They did that with very beautiful and advanced products, including this RP-3500 record player.
The base of this device is a 16 kg heavy granite slab, standing on adjustable feet.
The tonearm is of very high quality, and can be adjusted very precisely to any cartridge.
An AudioTechnica MD cartridge of exceptionally high quality is mounted on this player, type AT20SLa, this is offered here and there for 300 to 500 euro. The arm support has been replaced. Including professional antistatic mat.
This player harvested and still harvests very good critiques in journals and on forums. Of course some signs of wear. Including gold-plated cinch cable and copy of the manual.
