Very beautiful Japanese doll made of carton bouilli.
Around 1900–1920.

Length = 41 cm
With spread arms = 28 cm
The head, lower arms and lower legs are made of carton bouilli.
Otherwise she is made of paper and fabric.
She has real hair which is knotted into a Japanese bun and beautiful glass eyes.
Dressed as a geisha.
Linen dress with beautiful colours.
There is a mechanism in her chess which peeps when she in squeezed lightly.
In very good but used general condition, as on the photos.
Some damage to the toes of her right foot and to the paper around the left knee.

Will be carefully packaged, and shipped with insured and registered mail.
