There were various versions. This is unique! Specimen of porcelain with name and address of the doctor from Ghent (Belgium) listed in French on the copper.
The initials J.L. Of the maker J.Leblanc. This is model 2 with 500cc content. This device is included in the collection at various medical museums.
The porcelain is perfect, the spring still works. Metal with minor weathering by old age but unpolished.
At the time invented by Dr.Maurice Eguisier (1813-1851) and widely used in the second half of the 19th century.
