Antique ritual pyx with 800 silver cup and lid - vermeil interior and edges both hammered, fire gilded lid, small leave shaped engravings on the base of the cross. The stem is made of brass. It can be dated to the 18th century for the typical style and manufacture. Only a single small punch still barely readable and of probable French origin.
