The back is fastened to the frame with 4 swivel tabs. The easel stand in coated cardboard, was originally folding, has been restored and reinforced but, after so many years, is no longer folding. See photos
The frame is in excellent condition, extremely rare to find items like this, which in most cases show chipped petals and so on.
This frame is perfect and it is a piece of Italian ceramic history
