A really very rare piece of history that probably can't be found any more. It is a property of a former officer, a member of the 2nd Guard Dragoon Regiment "Emperor Alexandra of Russia". The blade is richly etched on both sides and on the back with motifs of a cavalry attack, as well as a crowned "A". This stands for Empress Alexandra. In addition next to the rank decoration the lettering "2. G.D. Reg. Empress Alexandra of Russia". Round the typical guard symbol as a star with the Latin lettering "Suum Cuique" (everyone his own!). The hilt with slight traces of corrosion and a small hairline crack on the 4th inner bracket. The hilt is fixed, the blade is almost in perfect condition, with only a slight superficial rust scar located on the spot. The sheath is 80% in original paintwork, with traces of use, a really beautiful, extraordinary piece. Reliable insured shipping to the desired address.
