Long grooved wooden handle with signs of age, blotchy blade, in good condition with date and various acceptance stamps. Two-sided hollow groove. The blade has considerable residual sharpness, with original shock leather. The scabbard also has signs of wear, wood covered with leather, seam closed, fittings have signs of wear on the sheet metal missing the mounting bracket, but it still sits very firmly.
