An exquisite, hard to find pair of Limoges bisque porcelain busts (young boy and girl), the girl by Camille Tharaud, the boy by Pucci.
They represent the young boy Alexandre and girl Louise, children of the architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart (1739-1813). The busts are based on originals made by Jean-Antine Houdon (1741-1821).
Mid XX century
Very good condition
The girl marked Limoges France and C. Tharaud, the boy marked Pucci on the back.
