This is a very beautiful, genuine “Gamsbart” (literally “chamois beard”, a tuft of hair traditionally worn as a decoration on “Trachten” hats in the alpine regions of Austria and Bavaria) from Vienna, this “Gamsbart” hat decoration is no less than 30 cm long and an absolutely unique piece.
I have originally paid over €1,200 for it.
It is not subject to CITES authorisation, and I hope it will be in good hands with its new owner.
