Superb and rare automaton representing a small bird in a gilded brass cage, from the first part of the 20th century.
Stamped Made in France.
Please note: it doesn’t work.
It is also missing a foot underneath.
The bird's plumage is original, no feathers on the head.
I don't think that it would take much to make it perfect.
