Hyundai Comboy was produced in 1989 by Nintendo for the South Korean market and was exclusively sold there. It is estimated that only 5000 to 10000 products were made, which makes this lot really unique and rare.
This Game Boy is an exclusive Korean edition. Following the Second World War, South Korea maintained a Japanese cultural blockade. As a result, Nintendo sold their license to Hyundai in order to put their system on the territory.
The Gameboy is in full working order. The screen is in good condition and shows no signs of deterioration. It was fitted with a new screen lens.
