They are an excellent design, and make use of a roller locked, retarded blowback mechanism that does away for the need of any gas pistons etc. This makes them very reliable and the G3 tends to be able to accept harsher environments like arctic or desert conditions better than its contemporaries. They are also more accurate than average and for these reasons have been adopted by half the world’s armies and license produced in 7 countries. Deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
