improved MAYNARD single shot mid range hunting rifle, cal 44-70.
26 inch barrel aha an excellent bore, no pitting.
Works perfect and all original.
The frame is standard made to fire rim and centre fire.
Had a bit of bad storage. So on several spots light pitting on the outside and loss of varnish.
Needs a bit of cleaning. Casehardening on frame is 70 %,blue on barrel is 80 %.
Fitted with a elevating tang peep sight with open sporting and beach front sights.
Great target/hunting rifle. all original.
