非常罕見的仿古木製浮標-Joon浮標 (1) - 橡木和鐵 - 19世紀下半葉
Very rare wooden floater, 100% original "Joon" Buoy. The ‘Joon’ or ‘Breel was used in the 19th century during herring fishing by tying it to the nets.
It is barrel-shaped, entirely composed of uprights which when they exactly fit from a waterproof connection, around it are 5 original iron bands and a wooden eye with rope loop.
After using in Dutch fishing the ‘Joon’ buoy was provided with a door after which it served as a cabinet including metal hinges and sliding closure. The buoy can be placed as a decorative piece of furniture or hang from the rope which already has been done formore than a century.
A lovely and rarely offered item.
