The "Diana" art ceramics factory, owned by ceramicist Giovanni Girardi, was active in Vicenza, in the San Bortolo area, in the years after World War 2.
This ceramic figurine representing a gypsy dancer, signed G. Girardi 442, Italy “La Diana” is in perfect condition, except a very small shortcoming on the leaf of the flower on the dancer’s head and a really small shortcoming on her dress. See detailed photos even for the little colour shades and the missing or faded pure gold ornaments.
