The Vetterli saw bayonet model In 1887 it served as side arm on the repetition rifle 1878, Vetterli Repetiergewehr 1878/81. It has a sawback blade and has a narrow tip.
The blade was manufactured by S.I.G. Neuhausen.
Vetterli saw bayonets were only used until 1895, so they are very rare!
